Kingdom Business

I have decided to begin blogging. This is something new for me. I am a little afraid of it, but I feel it is necessary. I need some tangible way to document what goes on at Urban Connection on a daily basis even if it is in a small way.
This blog is called Kingdom Business because that is what we do everyday. We advance the Kingdom of God on the west side of San Antonio everyday. And we do that by sharing the love of God. We are not intrusive or overbearing. We just bring the Jesus to the Lincoln Courts in a simple way...acceptance and inclusion. We are there to show people there is a better way if they wish to try it. We don't force it, it is just who we are. We have successes and failures. People come and go. But we do our best to remain transparent and open and most of all loving to the community. Yes, we stand against drugs, gangs and anything else that spreads like cancer through the community. Some think that we are snitches, but we are not. If you do wrong where we can see it, and if we are asked about it, we will not lie for you. We stand on the side of truth. Is that snitching? I don't think so.
But anyways...
This blog will be about our successes and our failures in the community. I will do my best to write daily.
